Enogastronomia al Castello
Situated within the Borgo di Rivalta, in the walkable area, there are 3 restaurants, the Caffe di Rivalta, the Rocchetta, and the Antica Locanda del Falco.
To fully immerse yourself in the exploration of the traditions of Emilia Romagna, it is possible to arrange tastings of cured meats and cheeses, small tastings of local wines, both for couples and larger groups.
CAFFÈ DI RIVALTA
The Cafe di Rivalta, owned by the family of the Counts Zanardi Landi, wanted and furnished by them to relive the atmosphere of a bygone era, and relax in the peaceful village, but also as a dining service directly attached to the hotel. It is a bistro where it is possible to stop by at different times of the day, for breakfasts and snacks including with home-baked pastries, lunches and dinners with traditional menu, and aperitifs. It is also possible to make reservations for private events such as birthdays, family reunions, graduations or other events, as it offers several areas including a fireplace room, veranda and dehor.
LA ROCCHETTA
In the wonderful Borgo di Rivalta, where history and art know how to evoke times past, there is an equally fascinating and historic restaurant, La Rocchetta. In the past, the structure that now houses it was one of the castle's many stables. Embraced by a planted garden from which there is an all-round view, the restaurant is perched on the enclosing walls of the village and offers a large reception room topped by a thirteenth-century fireplace. There is also a beautiful dehor that offers a view of the garden, and a more intimate small room with exposed stones.
