Rivalta Castle is an imposing fortress complex located in Rivalta, a district of the town of Gazzola, in the county of Piacenza.

Guided tours of the Castle

A lavish castle in which the Zanardi Landi Counts still reside. Fully furnished, it hosts a Military Costume Museum rich in history.

Visits schedule and prices

The Castle is open all year-round from January to December. There are only guided tours as the Castle is a private house. 

SCHEDULE YEAR 2024

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: visits at 11.00 am 3.30 pm

Friday: visits at 11am and 3.30pm
Saturday: visits at 11:00, 14:00, 15:20, 16:40, 18:00*
Sundays and all holidays: visits at 10.30am, 12.00pm, 2.00pm, 3.20pm, 4.40pm, 6.00pm*

The castle will be closed to visits on December 25
Reservations are required for all visits


In compliance with anti-COVID 19 regulations, visits will be conducted with quota groups of up to 30 people.

By a peaceful river, guests can enjoy a special breakfast prepared by our Rivalta Café on the spacious terrace.
A basket will be served with cake, American coffee, croissant and juice.
